The event co Organizer is the Hungarian Yachting Association and will consist in a open event - The Grand Prix - and the Masters series where to be eligible skippers shall be 50 before December 31st of 2005 or older and the total age combined of the team shall be 120 also by December 31st of 2005.

The Mercedes-Benz Grand Prix will have Doyle Sails from Dave Curtis as Prize giving to the first three boats placing at the overall results. Masters prizes will follow a separate score counting only masters teams.
The event already has 4 entries from three different countries but only released their website with online entry form today at : www.soling.com/masters/2005

The event were scheduled just before the 2005 Soling Worlds to be held in Italy and only 10hr drive far away from the Balaton Lake, the idea was to make it possible overseas teams could come and use the one as practice race before the world championship. The Master World Championship will celebrate his 7th edition and Bill Abbott Jr. his wife Joanne and Paul Davis were the 2004 winners during an excellent race at the Wilmette Fleet in USA past July.
